Not everyone knows that Seal is also an accomplished songwriter and he received the British Academy’s Ivor Novella Award for Best Song Musicially and Lyrically for both “Crazy” and Killer”.
Some history on Seal
Seal is 53 years old and his real name is Henry Olusegun Adeola Samuel. He is from London and was raised in the City of Westminster. His father is Brazilian and his mother is Nigerian, but he was raised by a foster family. After school, he completed a diploma in architecture. There are many rumours about the scars on Seal’s face, which are actually the result of a type of lupus that affects the skin above a person’s neck.
Seal became known to the public in 1990 when he was a vocalist for the group Adamski, who released a single called Killer during this time. One of his most notable musical performances was in 1992 when he performed with the surviving members of Queen at the Wembley Stadium.
