Terms & Conditions

1. Damages and Key Deposit of R10,000.00 is included in the total amount payable.
2. Destruction of property, drunken or disorderly behavior, theft, damage to property or more than the permitted amount of guests in the apartment will result in the eviction of all residents of apartment No.5 Casa Playa immediately.  No refund will be considered.
3. Check in time is strictly after 14h00 and check out must be before 10h00 on the day of departure please.
4. The apartment is serviced Monday to Friday from 08h30 till 14h00, Saturday 08h30 till 11h00 (Public Holidays & Sundays excluded).  Washing of clothing is included in the service.  Ironing is not included; however, ironing can be arranged at an additional charge of R150.00 per Ironing Session – 14h30 to 16h30 only.
5. The apartment is stocked with linen, bath towels and beach towels. No pets are allowed.
6. No matric groups/students.  Persons under the age of 21 must be accompanied by 2 persons over the age of 28. A maximum of eight guests are permitted to stay at No. 5 Casa Playa.
7. Please note that a MAXIMUM of 3 vehicles are allowed on the property. Two in the garage and a 3^rd in a guest parking. Extra parking is available at the Umhlanga Sands Hotel Parking next door. Extra vehicles or vehicles that are parked illegally will be towed and a R5,000.00 fine levied.

Limits of Liability & Indemnity

The Elephant Property Trust and Casa Playa Body Corporate do not accept any responsibility or liability for the safe custody of personal belongings or motor vehicles nor any damage to personal property or motor vehicles however caused.  Children must be accompanied at all times on balconies and at the swimming pool by an adult and must not be left unattended.  Care must be taken whilst walking throughout the building and apartment due to moisture build up on the tiles, which can cause them to become slippery.  All facilities are used at guest(s) own risk.  The Elephant Property Trust and Casa Playa Body Corporate do not accept any responsibility or liability for any injury or death caused to any person.  Valuables must be stored in the safes provided in each room at all times and The Elephant Property Trust and Casa Playa Body Corporate will not accept responsibility and for theft or loss of such items.
